Well,
spring is in the air and the sneezes and wheezes are affecting a lot of us, but
the good thing about it is that we have some fabulous warm weather to look
forward to and if this last weekend was anything to go by, we can pack away
the winter woollies soon and haul out all the lovely fresh, skimpy summer
clothes.
Phew,
what a whirl-wind month this has been.
We had a fabulous weekend at Dinonyane where we Out-scrapped,
Out-Cropped and Out-Blinged each other.
35 ladies got together and had an awesome weekend. The Survivor Winners of the Weekend were
the Pink Team, but I must say that all teams did exceptionally well and took
to the whole team work and play like ducks to water. If you want to see some of the antics we
got up to, go check out our blog on http://www.mandmscrapbookingadventures.blogspot.com/. On that score, the kits from our weekend
are available to purchase, so if you want to get your hands on these
wonderful kits, get onto the shop and order your kits immediately.
I'm now
preparing myself for the Scrapbook Convention taking place at Emperor's
Palace next weekend. I'm busy packing
bags and getting all my photo's together.
2 glorious days of scrapping and learning from some stunning local and
international teachers. I can't wait
to bring it all back to share with you.
After
the weekend, I will be taking some much needed R&R at the beach with the
kids and some good friends. We fully
intend to do some serious scrapping in the evenings when the kids are all
tired out from running around the beach, splashing in the waves and getting
some summer sun on their backs. But it
does mean that for a couple of weeks I will be out of touch and unable to
fulfil orders. So please bear in mind
that from 16th September until 26th September, I will
be unable to check my mails and fulfil orders. But thereafter, we will be right back on
schedule. If there is something you
want to get before I ‘disappear', please get your orders in soon. Of course, this also means that classes
will be on hold during this time as well - sorry ladies.
Right,
well that's about it for now. Getting
close to my bedtime and I'm feeling so bushed I think I need some serious
sleep. Enjoy the warm weather and get
those camera's out and snap some pictures of the beautiful peach blossoms and
new growth on the trees.
Chat
soon, cheers
Mitch
